SERIAL TRESPASSER PLEADS GUILTY

Phone Harassment Charge Dropped

Mark Vance Halburn, arrested on June 25 in Dunbar for the disruption of government services, pled guilty to lesser charge of trespassing on Monday.  He gets credit for 14 days time served.

In exchange for the plea, the charge of making obscene, anonymous, harassing, repeated and threatening telephone calls to the WV unemployment office for his July 7 arrest was dismissed.

This is Halburn's second trespassing conviction.
